Q'Tomas — Restaurant in Valencia

One of the worst experiences I have had in a while and please keep on reading not to fall in the same mistake we did: decide to eat in this restaurant.

The service was completely absent, abandoned to ourselves the whole time. The only waiter assisting was not prepared for his job, the multiple issues include:

15 minutes to open a bottle of wine, butchering the bottle cap and serving it like CocaCola in a pub. Definitely not acceptable in a restaurant where the average price for each dish is 20 to 40 € absolutely no clue about what is included in the menu. We have asked twice for suggestions over the wine options, no answer at all. speed wasn’t either the core ability of the waiter…

The food was highly overpriced and not worth the money. Beside the appetizers, everything else represented a problem for my tongue, taste and appetite:

the Paella was the salties I have ever had and after we mentioned it to the responsible, he tried to persuade us that it was the normal paella taste and nobody ever blamed it, this is even another example of how bad the service was, no critics could be made since they always tried to come up with some excuses. In one occasion we even got stopped while talking to avoid any kind of responsibility or discussion. we have ordered a grilled fish for 39€ each, and it was without any kind of taste and with a really gummy consistency.

The room was extremely loud and we couldn’t enjoy the situation nor the company. Avoid this restaurant if you want to avoid a really bad experience.

This place doesn’t deserve your money nor your time, I truly suggest...

This is a terrible overrated restaurant which was highly recommended by our hotel. We ordered the wagu steak to be cooked medium. They brought us the meat very much alive and almost raw. When we confronted the waiters, they gave us a sirloin steak which was extremely salty and chewy. The meat was not tender and not cooked to satisfaction.

The service was also poor and overall the quality of the restaurant was unsatisfactory given the high quality restaurants we are accustomed to in London.

The people sitting next to us came from Belgium and they ordered a fish dish. The waitress did not even know how to cut and serve the fish. They looked extremely frustrated and were certainly not impressed.

My worst Spain dining experience of the year … Upon initial entrance was surprised by the cafeteria lighting but was hopeful that the food and service would make it worth my time and money. Unfortunately the tuna was extremely fatty and inedible. We also had to send back the vegetables bc they were cold …The waiter never came to check on us once food was delivered. Let the waiter know and he went to mention to kitchen staff but no one seemed to care.
