I had the pleasure of dining at Taberna Alkazar, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

We started our meal with a selection of Spanish classics, including the jamon, queso idiazabal, elio de bacaloa, all of which were absolutely fabulous. The red wine we chose was carefully selected and paired perfectly with our meal, enhancing the flavors of each dish.

For dessert, we indulged in some delicious treats, and the coffee was just the right ending to our meal.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly.

It's was okay. You must reserve a table on the day before and we also pre-ordered the paella. Even so, we had to wait 45 minutes to receive it. It tasted okay (I guess I'm not a big paella fan, but my boyfriend liked it), but the service was not good. We had barely any contact with the waiter since he always seemed too busy to pay us any attention. It was cold outside so we asked him to turn on the heater lamp next to us, which he tried but then the gas ran out and 1) he was either not motivated to replace the gas bottle or 2) the restaurant wasn't prepared for such a simple situation. We came to this place for the paella since the reviews were convincing. We were aware that this restaurant is located in a touristy area and therefore expected a slight markup on the prices. In general, food is quite good. The staff is not so friendly and quite unorganized. At some point, 3 waiters were behind the bar doing the drinks while we were waiting for a good 10 minutes to get the menu (the restaurant was not at all full at that time).
