Tequila in Love — Restaurant in Valencia

Not in love with this one, waters/waitresses ignore you like I was invisible. There’s rarely any truly authentic Mexican restaurant in Valencia. One thing missing is the SPICE! The HOT SPICY food is nonexistent because Spaniards don’t consume spicy meals or rather rarely, therefore they are mostly “decaffeinated” and priced up like gourmet food, which is not really. Not what I am used to. With this one “Tequila in Love” I didn’t even get to try the food or a margarita! I was sitting outside for 20 minutes and ignored by the waiting staff! even though we greeted when I sat down. If service can be that much “in love” they should get a room and leave this business! This place is so terrible I have been living here a few months and was excited that this place opened but I was so let down from the service I waited 40 mins please save your money and go somewhere else. You will see these glasses have sat at my table for over 40 minutes without anyone coming to clean or ask what we want. I even went inside and asked for help but they told me one minute that turned into 20 more minutes before I went back inside. I also asked for margaritas which is made with tequila the name of the place is tequila in love yet they could not make any margaritas that left me a little clueless! Tequila in Love is one of my favorite establishments since moving to Valencia! Rafael did amazing job creating a really unique restaurant with a variety of tequilas as well as an extensive bar menu. The ambience is absolutely gorgeous and the seating in the restaurant is very comfortable. . We were drawn in by Jonathan promoting a special of 2 beers and 2 tacos for €10. He was an really nice and friendly waiter who spoke both English and Spanish. He catered to everything we wanted, and gave our dog water and let us sit at the edge of the restaurant so she could be with us where it was a little cooler for her.
