Today I had the worst experience in dominos Union place outlet
Service issue : I ordered newly launched Kotthu pizza, 1 regular pizza and a Pepsi . After I paid for my order, I noticed that the advertisement banner price for Kotthu pizza and what they charged in my bill was Rs 300 extra. moreover as per the banner it says the pizza Kotthu comes with free Pepsi and lava cake
When I inquired about this to the person at the cashier she said to me that offer is over and the freebies are only for cheese Kotthu range and they haven’t got the new banner from head office that’s why they kept the old banner.but after sometime they offered me the free lava cake and Pepsi.
When they served the food they served us the wrong pizza and they asked me to take the wrong one for free of charge which I refused to accept. After sometime they served us our order along with the freebies and cashier said they will refund the extra amount what they charged .
Finally when I went to cashier to collect my refund a new cashier was there and he refused to give the refund. After I explained the issue to him they gave the refund 300 rupees instead of 550 rupees
I just want to clarify with dominos management why are you charging your customers different amounts coz when I questioned your cashier she said that if someone shows the promotion banner and ask for that promotion only they will give that offer or else they will charge for the normal menu price. Please be genuine with ur service.

Ordered twice through the Dominos website and experienced exponential delays in delivery (over three and a half hours in October 2022 and over 1 and a half hours last week), best part being the so called hotline not being reachable to even inquire about the order and the site indicating “pizza is being baked” throughout with no clear tracking available. Although I would have cut some slack for the delays, our worst experience was last week when I received two stone cold large pizzas with no seasoning, 1 and a half hours after ordering, despite the 30 minute promise of delivery, and tasting a spoilt pizza dough! Complained over the weekend and the generous call center associate decided to lecture on mozzarella cheese tasting different to other cheese without promptly attending to my complain and by least showing some degree of concern over a food poisoning compliant (honestly though, I can tell the difference between rotten pizza dough and mozzarella). Received two calls from the outlet who offered the same order to be delivered to my residence as a complimentary gesture but i politely declined given that I’d never order or taste a pizza from Dominos Sri Lanka again! Such a shame being a part of an international fast food chain and to whoever who’s reading this space for honest reviews, there are plenty of other restaurants offering amazing pizza at the same price so save the trouble and Google...

I arrived at 1:15 PM precisely, expecting to enjoy a delicious pizza. However, I was informed that they hadn’t prepared any food yet. As a branch restaurant of the main restaurant chain, it is crucial for Domino’s to be adequately prepared during peak hours, especially for a popular pizza chain. It was frustrating to learn that they couldn’t offer any food during lunchtime. What made the experience worse was the unpolite and unhelpful attitude of the staff. They didn’t show understanding or offer any alternatives to the situation. Their lack of empathy and professionalism added to my disappointment. I strongly believe that this branch should not only focus on improving their food preparation during peak hours but also train their staff to handle such situations with more courtesy and customer-centricity. A positive customer experience goes beyond just the food itself; it also relies on the service provided. Based on this unfortunate experience, I cannot recommend Domino’s Pizza at Union Place. It is my hope that they take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to provide a more satisfactory dining experience for their customers...
