Review of Sultan's Palace Restaurant

My dining experience at Sultan's Palace restaurant left much to be desired. While the food was passable, the cleanliness of the environment was a significant concern. We opted to dine in the air-conditioned room on the second floor, hoping for a pleasant and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, the presence of numerous cockroaches quickly became a distraction and source of discomfort.

Throughout the meal, we noticed cockroaches flying around the room and even landing on our table. We immediately brought this to the attention of the waiter, expressing our concern about the unhygienic conditions. Regrettably, the waiter's response was disheartening, as he simply inquired if the cockroach had landed on our food. This lack of urgency and concern on the part of the staff was disconcerting.

Despite our repeated requests for action to address the cockroach problem, it seemed as though the staff considered this situation to be normal. This was deeply disappointing, as a reputable establishment should prioritize cleanliness and ensure a pest-free environment for its patrons. The fact that we had to repeatedly remind them of the issue reflects a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer satisfaction.

To add insult to injury, the restaurant levied a service charge of approximately 1200, which was added to the total bill of around 6500. Given the subpar cleanliness and the unsatisfactory response to our concerns, it is difficult to justify such an additional charge. This only further exacerbated our disappointment with the overall experience.

In conclusion, while Sultan's Palace offered food that was acceptable, the lack of cleanliness and the presence of cockroaches in the dining area severely diminished the enjoyment of our meal. I have been a customer of this restaurant for more than 7 years, i have always taken delivery. Their food has been good up to now. However last night i ordered large chicken kotthu, amd the packing was they had stuffed the large kotthu in a normal size portion box and everything was overflowing. The cardboard box was wet with all the masala from the kotthu and it easily broke off when trying to open it but thats not the worst part. There was absolutely no chicken in the kotthu. I understand a mistake could have happened because i know this restaurant and it has mever happened before. Hence, naturally, i called and informed them and guess what their response was. The person who answered said the chicken is broken into pieces check inside properly and after i confirmed him its not there, he goes on to say keep the box like that and take a video and send it to them. Okay then i do send a video and then he is like cant see clearly whether the chicken is there or not and after like 5 calls and sending the videos they said they will send the chicken to my address. They absolutely refuse to believe there was no chicken and they are sending the chicken just to get it over with. Third Class customer service and none of them not even the manager apologized for the state it was sent. I have been a loyal customer but never will i buy...
