Level 4 Rooftop Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Colombo

We recently visited this place after making a reservation and specifically requesting a table with a view of the World Trade Center. Our booking was confirmed, but upon arrival, we were told by a waiter that the table had been reserved for another group. To make matters worse, the table we had initially requested was not even suitable for the 11 people in our group, despite clearly mentioning the number when booking. There was no apology or courtesy from the staff for the inconvenience caused. As we were about to leave, they offered us a different table, but it didn’t have the view we had asked for.

The food was overpriced and disappointing. The seafood platter, priced at Rs. 6,500, was barely worth Rs. 3,000. The portion size was small, and the fried rice tasted bland, like plain rice, and appeared to be made from an unsuitable local variety.

Customer service was equally poor. We were not given enough plates and cutlery at the beginning and had to request them multiple times. One of the dishes we ordered arrived only after we had almost finished our other food.

The issues continued with the food, which was severely overpriced for its quality and portion size. The seafood platter, priced at a steep Rs. 6500, was shockingly small and wouldn't have been worth even Rs. 3000. The fried rice was bland, tasting like plain steamed rice, and was prepared with a local rice variety completely unsuitable for the dish. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my pasta, which is simply unacceptable.

While the view and the beverages were pleasant, they were the only redeeming qualities of the entire evening. Given the booking mishap, the poor food quality, the unacceptable hygiene issue, and the high prices, I can say with certainty that this restaurant is not...

The bad Finding this place was quite difficult. Not happy with the parking options or the lack there was. The cumbersome walk to the pub was a shame even before getting drunk. The mist fans are a joke. They increase the humidity and does not make anything cool. The idea of a self-service bar is good but not when the counter is so far away from some tables.. especially when you're drunk.

The good and the great The atmosphere is a 10/10. The vibe they were going for is a bit of a British pub with a touch of tropical nature and open plan lounge. That perfectly matches with a nice beer. Great variation of drinks and affordable cocktails. Great customer service and polite staff. great place for a bunch of old friends to hangout, drink and enjoy grilled bites while relaxing next to WTC. Reasonable bill for an exceptional time spent.
