Friday night 8pm heaps of tables empty, talk to the waiter cause just 2 of us sit down on table for 8 and he said he might put more people when gets busy. 3 more guys came for a beers and no troubles we all sitting there and enjoying music. We ordered meals and while waiting manager came that we have to move as he got 5pax. He could easily sit them next to us but very rude way start to argue that there is no way and we have to move. As a restaurant manager from Sydney I deal with those situations daily and his attitude was just something special. We got to the point that we have to leave so I said we not paying for anything we had and he agreed. He just want us to be out ASAP as was raining and other people standing right there. How other customers felt not sure but I would feel strange. Which ever restaurant/pub in this location ( not cheap ) should value customers in first place. It’s a long shot but your managers mentality should be somewhere else otherwise customers will not...

We stopped by the Dutch Pub in Colombo for a cold beer during lunchtime and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we decided to return for dinner later that same day. The pub has a great vibe, perfect for unwinding during the day or evening. For dinner, we ordered the Jaffna Crab Curry and buffalo wings. The Jaffna Crab Curry was delicious - rich, flavourful, and packed with the spicy kick that I love. The buffalo wings were equally delicious, with a nice spicy flavour that complemented the curry perfectly.

The staff at the Dutch Pub were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout both visits, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the music was a little too loud, which made conversation a bit challenging at times. If the volume were lowered slightly, it would create an even better dining...
