Firstly, I must commend the antique charm of both the interior and exterior of Mitsis Delicacies, which certainly adds to its unique appeal. However, there were a few areas where I feel improvements could be made.

One notable issue was the inadequate cooling provided by the air conditioning system, which detracted from the overall comfort of the dining experience especially when the food is spicy. Additionally, I found the level of hygiene to be below the standard I would expect from a restaurant of your caliber.

While I appreciate the rarity of grills and BBQ platters in Sri Lanka, I couldn't help but notice that the prices were on the higher side, especially considering the lack of freshness in some of the dishes, which seemed pre-made. Furthermore, the temperature of the food was not as hot as expected.

Parking availability was another challenge, as there was no designated parking area nearby. However, I did appreciate that parking outside was possible when the restaurant wasn't too busy, albeit with limited space for only a few vehicles.

On a positive note, I found the service provided by your staff to be commendable, and the portion sizes were adequate. Nevertheless, I believe there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of offering promotions or combo deals to enhance the value proposition for customers.

In conclusion, while Mitsis Delicacies has its strengths, such as attentive service and acceptable food quality, there are areas that could benefit from attention, including A/C improvement, hygiene standards, and pricing strategy. This is another "this is my first-time" restaurant that we went for a date, technically for a bite, as usual 😋 anyway first and for most, this place is really calm since it's away from busy streets, very spacious, comfortable settings and they are open to business by 9 am which is super convenient.

We tried their Chicken burger and chicken carbonara. Let's talk about that chicken burger 🤩, The portion was big and the patty was juicier, fresh and the taste was even better. Kudos on their potato chips. Carbonara was ok and passed the parameters of my girlfriend's pasta taste buds and if you ask me, it's more than enough. As for the drink, we had a cappuccino and a vanilla milkshake. The cappuccino was ok and that milkshake tho, it was good with just the right amount of sweetness. All of the dishes and drinks met our expectations and price is also fairly reasonable in our opinion. (Check the below images of our order 😍🤤)
