Coffee & Company — Restaurant in Colombo

"I recently visited Coffee and Company and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food and service. I found that the quality of the food did not match the price, and in fact, I found it to be quite horrible. Additionally, the service was not up to par with what I had experienced in the past.

Specifically, I found that the spicy prawn sub and penne pasta with chicken and mushroom I ordered was not cooked properly and lacked flavor and specifically asked to be spicy but served without. In terms of service, I found that the staff was not as attentive as they have been in the past.

While I understand that every restaurant can have off days, I believe there are some improvements that could be made. First, the kitchen should take more care in preparing the dishes to ensure that they are cooked properly and have good flavor. Second, the staff should be more attentive and provide better customer service. Finally, I think the prices should be reviewed to ensure that they are more in line with the quality of the food.

Overall, I hope that Coffee and Company cafe takes this feedback into consideration and works to improve the quality of its food...

Worst customer service in the entire world. Food is great but the lady at the counter has zero customer service experience. They are not on Uber eats or PickMe food even though they say they are - i have had to call them manually and ask them to update the app and they still say they can’t. Just now when I ask them to make an order that I will come pick it up the lady on the phone says she can’t take orders from the phone and can only do it when we come there. She always gives some sort of excuse and is it’s honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced - as someone who genuinely liked the food there I have made a conscious effort now to never go there and have told many people about this because this woman has zero customer knowledge and therefore they just lost a customer who was willing to even come there and pay for a meal because they don’t...

Coffee and company is much similar to a coffee shop which is not too big but so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. ☺️ . . “Mongolian rice with chicken” (LKR 550) has a lot of flavors added to it with a nice color and it tastes a lot different from the usual rice. 🙂 . . The “iced cappuccino” (LKR 600) does not really match with the cold taste. I’d rather have a hot cappuccino instead. Even though it looked very nice from the outside it was very bitter in taste. 🙃 . . The “chocolate brownie with ice cream” (LKR 520) was so delicious. It had a very good chocolate taste so I liked it very much. It really goes well with the ice cream on top. 😍 . . The “watermelon juice” (LKR 350) was good but they have blended it with the seeds which was a bit of a disappointment but it did taste good. And the “papaya juice” (LKR 400) was so good.
