Uber it! Don't go there.
The staff weren't professional at all. It's just uber and PickMe riders waiting to grab orders. So the staff don't deal well.
I was standing in line and people just cutting in and going ahead.
When I tried to pay and I asked him whether it's okay if I pay with my card (I spoke in English) the other employee who I'm pretty sure was one of the kitchen staff was making fun of the way I asked it. I really thought it was unprofessional.
The cashier boy was nice though. He was trying to be helpful.
I think the owner came in and I mentioned that they need to have a better system for people waiting in line. But he just shrugged it off.
As one of Sri Lankas top raters on Google for food and eateries.
My opinion don't go there. Just uber it.
Foods okay. There are plenty of options available and their prices aren't the cheapest.
Cordon Bleu lacked the flavor I was used to compared to Fazlys. Sub was alright. Not bad, nothing great.
They don't have a huge menu. Just about 20 items (excluding drinks) so the grilled items basically were not available.
For me that's a bad sign for a restaurant. When you have a small menu and you can't keep upto it. That's a sign that the place won't last. I'm sure anyone reading this knows what I mean.
If the owner is reading this. Please get your restaurant in order. Train your staff. When a kitchen staff who is being told what the order is, instead of listening to the cashier makes fun of the way a customer speaks. You've got problems.
You need to have a more helpful attitude or you'll be just like the other 1000 restaurants that have closed up. Great start to a terrible ending!
Anyways good luck! will try your food again at some point in the future. Hopefully won't have to deal with all...
Read moreWe are (were) regulars here. Honestly, today's order will be the last we ever place from this eatery. They used to serve good sized portions where a meal would be filling and to a very high standard. If I spend Rs. 1200 on a submarine, I expect it to have a few vegetables included in the filling. Also, the Rs. 700 I spent on the French fries was a real rip off, literally you can count the number of fries with your fingers. The burgers are too salty, less crunch (crispy chicken) and the sizes have reduced significantly. I often hear restaurants saying the cost of goods have gone up, then why are you increasing your prices to reflect this change, however downgrading the quality? When you complain like this all you get is a "sorry we will rectify the situation," however, you have already lost your customer. Anyways, I tried their phone number a dozen times, always rings, no one picks up. Therefore, I thought I had no choice but to share my experience here. Seems like 99 percent of restaurants in Sri Lanka are charging a premium and reducing the quality. Somebody needs to address this. Was it not a few days ago that gas and petrol prices were reduced, although not by much. Seems like the restaurants did not get the memo to reflect this change on the customers. Bottom line, don't increase prices, complain everything is expensive and use it as an excuse to serve sub-par food. Shame on anyone taking that path. Hope for your sake that you get your act together, pretty soon you might have to start eating your...
Read moreI went to the foodcycle few days back for dinner and I did not have a good experience.
We tried the Mixed Mee Goreng and the Classic Nai Miris Kottu for our mains, Fried Chicken and Chips as an appetizer and soft drinks for beverages.
To start it out, we initially wanted to get HBC but unfortunately it takes around 40+ mins for it to defrost and we were recommended Fried Chicken and Chips. For beverages we were told that they only have soft drinks, and we opted to a Fanta and a water bottle.
The appetizer arrived first and the food was very oily to an extent where there was clear visible oil floating around in the plate. The food was soggy from being kept out and the food was NOT warm. After a few bites, we asked them to please reheat it as we cannot eat it like that.
During that time, our mains were served. The mee goreng was extremely oily as well, although the kottu was decent. We had to leave out most of the mee goreng cause it’s way too oily to consume. While having our mains we were served with our reheated appetizer and we believe it was replaced with a new potion and it was warm and crispy!
Unfortunately to our dismay, we saw that there was Iced Milo available only for Uber eats or PickMe orders, which was very confusing for us as dine in customers.
Customer Service: From the start, we noticed that the service lacked. And certain workers were walking around eating bits and pieces of food in...
