Barrique Wine Bar Lorensberg AB — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

We were staying in an AirBnB apartment just around the corner and this restaurant was recommended by our host. Barrique did not disappoint. My wife is ceiliac so we stuck with the main courses and were not disappointed. So much so we ate here seven times, yes, seven times during our 14 day stay in Gothenburg. Staff were so knowledgeable and friendly, appreciate that being in the hospitality industry, that is what you woud expect, however I have to say that all staff were exceptional, probably the best we have ever came across. Special mention to Hanna who was just so lovely, friendly and chatty. Would whole heartidly recommend this place to eat in Gothenburg. Beautiful restaurant with a lovely and relaxing atosmphere.

The food was incredible, with distingtive flavors and generous truffle. Even the butter for the bread was a "wow experience"! The wine menu is extensive and covers the most important regions so you can order wine based on the food.

We must also give a huge thanks to the friendly and humerous staff that gave so much of themselves and their personality. Yous made our day.

All in all, so happy we came. Looking forward...

Excellent food and good wine suggestions. Service was not the best that night unfortunately. It was not so full since we went for an early after work but it takes quite some time to get the attention from the waiter. We waited a long long time for our bill and even after checking it with the waiter a couple of times it never came, we went to the cashier to look for our bill ourselves in the end.
