Angelo’s is an acceptable experience. Downsides are first and foremost the lack of vegan options, as there is literally only one dish on the menu that is vegan (pasta all’ arrabbiata). Considering the whopping price point of 199 SEK for a simple tomato sauce pasta, you might expect some sort of higher quality, but in the end it was just alright. The sauce is weirdly sweet, so they definitely added sugar to it to fight the acidity (not very Italian of them) and the pasta itself was overcooked. Generally, the pricing at Angelo’s is a bit ridiculous with higher than average prices also for drinks.

Still, the service is quite nice and friendly and as an experience with non-vegan company, you can tag along and have a decent enough evening. But surely no place to seek out for a good vegan pasta. More like 2/5 if you just focus...

The food was great I had ravioli with Gorgonzola in a creamy sauce with truffle paste, absolutely amazing the sauce was to die for. Husband had seafood linguine which he thoroughly enjoyed. We had the mixed antipasti to start which didn’t disappoint. I had tiramisu that was gorgeous husband had chocolate truffle that was disappointing, not because of the taste but the size. It was no bigger than half of your little finger. Apart from that we couldn’t fault the food and the service even though one of the waitresses was on her first day. Well done. I am very upset. I came there without booking and they gave me the table close to the entrance, which was fine. Then I ordered pasta and vine. I eat pasta (which was just ok) and was seating and drinking vine. Then, one guy approached me and said "sorry, this table is booked and guests are coming in 15 min"... WHAT???

At the time of the conversation I had been seating there less than 30 mins! They did not tell me that I had just 45 mins to finish my food and vine! It was very RUDE!
