Butcher's Market — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Bought: $5 Shake, Cheese & Bacon Burger and Fries. The shake tasted bland and you could clearly taste the cheap ingredients chosen for it. I did not feel like the shake was of value at all. The burger itself was OK. I did not like the cheap taste of the bread, but overall it was OK. Worth 110kr? Maybe in the style it was served. Other than that, not really. Had a much better burger at McD, which is not a good thing. The fries also tasted cheap, but they were fresh and crisp, probably the only thing I felt was worth the money spent that evening. The crew were nice though. I liked the service and the time they put on serving us. Did notice a couple that had to awkwardly wait to be seated while the responsible for it enjoyed some off time looking at her phone. Now I did not rate it just one star because I did not hate the place. Atmosphere was great and I felt like I was welcome. If you solely wish to eat for the atmosphere, then uh, sure, this could pass as a nice...

Mixed feelings about this place.

The food was absolutely excellent but the restaurant itself was way too crowded. There are tables where there is no room for more tables. I felt like I was a packed sardine!

It took a long time before we could order. The staff never walked by us and catching their attention turned out to be fruitless. When we got to talk to them however they were extremely friendly and got our order just right. A serving of fries came nearly cold but they happily replaced them when we asked, and apologised for the trouble.

I remove a star each for the crowdiness and for the crew being understaffed. There needs to be one or two more pairs of feet on the floor.

I can definitely see myself go back again just for the good...
