I walked into this place all excited about about an authentic British pub experience, but unfortunately that ended at the door!
It was proberly once a great place, but that seems be in it's past for now.
Only one member of staff seemed happy to be at work, and even though the bars were not busy the service was very slow.
There was a good range of beer, but the food selection was disappointing. This was made worse by the fact that the one options (Out of five) we wanted was of the menu. I asked how come the Ceasor Salad was avalible but the club sandwich wasn't since the ingrediance was about the same? To which I was told "It's up to the kitchen!) The food that did arrive wasn't of a bad standard, but wouldn't win any awards for excitement of effort.
The toilets absolutely stank, and i was glad i didn't go in there before i had my food!
The owners need to put some time in here and it could be a great pub again I'm sure, just needs...

The bar is split in two, the rightmost entrance is more "pub-like", tight spaces and more crowded, while the leftmost entrance has more open space (see pictures). Seating and atmosphere is quite good, with comfy sofas and chairs in some areas, and plenty of screens if you're coming by to watch a game. There's a couple shuffleboard tables available too.
If you're coming by for drinks you'll probably find this spot OK, as long as you can get a table. The food, however, is poor. We got a chicken burger which consisted of a ready-made and tasteless (presumably frozen) chicken patty between two dry buns, some lettuce, tomato, and stale mayo. It'll serve to fill your stomach, but you won't be happy about it. We also had an extreme wait for the food. If you're hungry,...
Read moreSad Experience. The security staff really needs to handle customers better. We had ordered some drinks and snacks. Since it was late at night some of our friends went to fetch some takeaway food. When they returned they weren't allowed to enter because they had packed food. They offered to store the food away in a bagpack. But the gaurd didn't relent. Apparently the foods smell would still be disturbing other customers. The food was Falafel Salad btw.
Quite stoically the guard said that if you have friends inside you can call them outside and go to some other place.
Eventually we had to leave our drinks and wasted our money and time!
There is a way to communicate a policy and the guard was a complete failure in that.
Would any day prefer O'learys or Hard Rock over...
