Lilla London — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

I will give it 3 stars mostly because of the service.

I was there one evening when it wasn't fully booked. When I came there with my girlfriend there was maybe 4 other couples close by. I saw 2 of them order before us and 2 after us.

But even when we ordered our drinks we said that we can order our main course right away as well because we had a time to keep.

It took about 15 minutes to get the drinks and all of the other couples already had theirs. Then after 30 minutes I started to see food coming out but everything was for the other couples even the couples who ordered 10 minutes after us!

After 55-65 minutes we got our food. The taste of the food it was something like 3.5 stars and we ordered a Sallad and a steak. I do not think it should take over an hour or get the food later than couples that ordered after us and upon that we saw couples who had already left that came also after us. That is why the service was the worst thing here.

Atmosphere overall. Pretty old a bit worn down was the feeling a dark English pub more than a restaurant. So I can say for the price and the service there is way better...

We, a group of five, waited for more than an hour to get a dish of fried potatoes and at the end we didn’t even get our order, just some potatoes in a dish not the special dish we ordered. It seems no body is responsible for anything. Everyone just uses the “kitchen” as an excuse to keep you waiting. The place is located in one of the most popular streets in Gothenburg yet they don’t care about the costumers which is kinda questionable. Everything is very expensive and they don’t hire enough staff to satisfy the need of costumers. That I think is a kinda fishy! If you have time to wait, don’t care if you don’t have anything to drink and being neglected doesn’t bother you, maybe you can try this place once! Lilla London has nothing special to offer but waiting...

Worst service I ever. Aldrig varit med om detta förut i Sverige! The waiter was disrespectful and he was not even the least bit interested in serving us. We waited for about 30 min to place our order while everybody who arrived after we did were served before us. The same with the food, it came long after everybody else (who came after us) were served so had to wait for another hour or so. The place wasn't that busy to begin with. Despite our patience and politeness the waiter was dismissive, rude and conceited. Even the bill was delayed (we had to ask four people, two of whom ignored us). Never returning to this...
