The complimentary bread, particularly the homemade hard bread with fennel and rye flour, was a delightful surprise. It was delicious. For our starter, we had the Swedish charcuterie, which was both plentiful and incredibly flavorful.

The main course, the tender, juicy meatballs were perfectly complemented by the rich and flavorful sauce. It was a dish that truly impressed.

The overall atmosphere was exceptional. We felt incredibly relaxed and well-taken care of throughout our meal. The pricing is also reasonable for the quality of the food and service.

Södra Larm Bar & Bistro is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and the ambience is cozy and clean. Music is played at the right volume so that you can talk to your company without having to yell. Service is pretty quick and they have some good wines too. For starters, we got the Arancini and Beef Tartare. Both of them were delicious and the Arancini is infused with a lot of truffle. So, if you're a fan of truffle, this is the dish for you. The baked fish was very fresh and delicious. The butter was a bit too much for my liking but it was pairing well with the fresh seafood on the plate. The Crème Brûlée was nicely done and the sorbet accompanying it was quite interesting. Overall a really nice restaurant and experience was great with food and service. Would definitely go back here and try their lunch...

Spectacular – in one word, that’s how I would describe my experience at Sodra Larm in Gothenburg. To start, I ordered the fried and glazed king oyster mushroom which was delicious. Others may find it a bit too salty but personally, the king oyster mushroom starter was OK for me. For my main, I ordered the grilled rainbow trout which was seasoned well and cooked to perfection.

Finally, to finish off our wonderful meal, I ordered the Flora’s jubilee pastry which was sublime. Throughout the service, we had a super attentive waitress who looked after all of our requests in a very timely and a very impressive, professional manner.
