Tipico - Italiensk Restaurang — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

To give an explanation for my lack of good review, the food was incredible, best pasta we have had outside of Italy.

However, here’s where my review sinks in stars, the service was…for the prices they are charging, dreadful.

We had to light our own table candle, they didn’t bring water or menus to our table for over twenty minutes, we got a sorry, which was nice.

We had received no breadbasket, every other table did.

It was as if we were invisible for almost 25 minutes in the restaurant, and we booked a reservation.

Sorry guys, this isn’t the way you do service, it’s Sweden, I get it it’s a bit more chill, but this was the most surprising lack of service I’ve gotten in a nice restaurant to date.

I am not sure if the evening we were here they were understaffed or some sort of event happened, the staff were friendly enough but it was so disorganized and if I was bringing a date here I’d have been so disappointed (luckily I’m not trying to impress someone ahah)

Thanks for the great pasta, but we likely won’t be back.

This restaurant has a beautiful, calm, and elegant atmosphere—perfect for a romantic evening or just a great meal. Eating here is truly a fantastic experience! The food? Simply amazing. We couldn’t decide because everything looked so good, so we ordered both appetizers and pizza, and honestly, both were incredible. The menu offers some unique twists on classic dishes, which is a big plus—it’s the perfect chance to try something new and be pleasantly surprised!

Another highlight? The owner. You can feel her passion, joy, and love for what she does, and chatting with her made our dinner even more special.

Me and my girlfriend have visited all the Italian restaurants in Malmö and Tipico is by far the best one. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the interior is stylish and relaxing. The service is amazing and there he woman who runs it is very nice and friendly. The food is of very high quality and has a refined taste that really tickles the palate.
