Bistro Capitol — Restaurant in Stockholm

Supper tonight at Bistro Capitol was a triumph. In fact it was Last Meal quality and excellent and friendly service.

Pizza with lemon cream cheese and cod roe. And Sea buckthorn sorbet with almond cream, sea buckthorn berries and a lot of "oh my goodness" murmering from me. Seriously everyone, this is a joyful thing in life, to embrace something new without prejudice or preconceptions. Don't say, "oh, I don't fancy that." Say, "oh let's give it a go!"

Good selection of movies, not the garbage that runs on "normal" cinemas, but the venue could be better. We booked balcony dine-in seats; the chairs were super comfortable but the tables tiny so any eating became a hassle. The view of the projector screen was obstructed by a handrail.

The cheese and charcuterie platters we ordered were a poor selection and it did not correspond to what was specified...

Lovely little resturant in a charming old cinema! The food menu is small but purposeful with every dish having its right full place. Flavours are confident with richness and honesty on the palate. Service is un fussy but very professional. Get a good bottle of wine, order some plates to share and enjoy. We'll worth a visit for any...
