Happened upon this little cafe and something attracted me. The menu looks great, finally a place with great breakfast options for me. There is eggs and pancakes and porridge and sandwiches of different kinds. The bar man is oh so busy putting things right and cleaning but he welcomes me and tells me I can let him know when I'm ready. I look at the rows of delicious looking sandwiches with veggies in every color. In the corner there is a sign, "we'll fix your own favorite sandwich, let us know what you feel like." I can hardly decide but go with pancakes and coffee. The coffee is of the self service kind but to my surprise he heats up milk for me on the side. When the pancakes come I ask him Are you the owner of this place? He seems a bit shy but says "two, there is two of us"... The feeling I get of this place is love. There is thought and love in this place. You do you, and they will put something something extra on there and serve.
The pancakes are simple with just the powder sugar on but he's brought a bottle of chocolate and sirap and banana on the side... I can devise this delicious meal just how I like it...
Good coffee, simple but good food, places with electrical outlet to sit and work.

Read moreThis place will always be special to my heart, as once upon a time, my parents owned the place under the name “Café Smulan”. I went to visit it with my boyfriend during the Easter Holiday, and also managed to have a friendly chat with the current owner. I promised him to send some pictures from the time when my parents were the owners. The food was delicious, and it was awesome to see that locals were regularly stopping by there, it was full house.❤️I’m also glad that the owner handled my enthusiasm so openly when I walked up to him to let him know about the history of this place.😌We will be...
Read moreIt was a nice atmosphere and the worker was doing a great job, appearently being the only one there doing both the cooking and the serving. I got a mozzarella toast, a latte and the American pancakes. The toast was nice, would have been nicer if it came with a side salad instead of a few pieces of arugula for decoration. My main concern was the pancakes, for something they specially advertise, they were OK at best. Did not have the golden brown appearence you would expect, looked more like the frozen ones they sell at the supermarket, which I am guessing they...
