The barista exercises an art of being rude to customers. It is strange that they (almost always) hire young clueless females who clearly don't know the basics of running a business and dealing with clients. A chai latte costs almost 60 kr, which is mind you a mug of hot water, some tea, a dush of spices, and two spoons of milk. It was hard to find a clean spot (as most tables were not cleaned). The state of the bathroom was catastrophic: no water, no toilet paper, dirty wet floor covered with used toilet paper. In the meanwhile, the staff were carrying on their chitchatting behind the counter as if all is fine. But I don't think they care, because they know people will come, partly thanks to the location. As a Greek, and a coffee lover,I found Espresso House to be a mixed experience. The snacks are delicious and the sandwiches are especially noteworthy, making them a great choice for a quick bite. However, the coffee did not live up to my expectations. The cappuccino was quite watery and lacked the robust flavor I am accustomed to. This might be just a personal preference, as others might find the coffee more to their liking.

I asked only for a caramel cheesecake and a double espresso. The lady gave out the cake with cream pretty fast, but the guy who was making the coffes simply ignored my order, even tho it was on his order list on the monitor. I'm a really patient guy and I know the feeling working in a place like this.. But after 16 minutes of waiting in front of them, they kept serving people who ordered after me.
