Lovely restaurant with amazing food and an owner who went out of the way to save the day! First of all, our food was so good. Clever concept with the packaging - and what a surprise when it comes out plated, ready to enjoy! Everyone at our table got something different, and it was all perfect.

After enjoying our lunch here with friends, we mistakenly left behind our backpack which had our dslr camera and other important items. The owner of the cafe came running down the street with it!!! We had no idea we left it behind and are eternally grateful for his honesty and the way he went out of the way to return it to us.

On September 5, 2022, my spouse searched Google for the best restaurants serving Swedish meatballs. We walked to this one from our Hobo Hotel. The owner asked where we were from. Toronto, Canada I responded. He struck up a conversation about William Nylander and his father, Michael Nylander. William played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and is still with the team as I write this review on April 5, 2023 which is exactly 7 months since our visit at Mom's Kitchen. The owner mentioned Michael spends his summer at his residence located a block or so from this restaurant and would periodically visit for a meal. A small world.
