Papà — Restaurant in Stockholm

Very bad service. The waiter persistently told all of us that service is not included when we were paying implying that we need to leave him a tip. So unprofessional. We barely got any service: the order was taken and we waited for our food for one and a half hour. When asked when is food coming the answer was: of course it’s coming. I pointed out that it’s not nice to ask for tips so openly, to which I received a storm of hysterical come back. I didn’t want to get into a dialogue and we stood up to leave, the waiter kept screaming, he then grabbed my friend and started yelling at her that I cannot talk to him that way. He insisted to knowing who’s name the table was booked under and made racist comments on the account of me being Asian. I hope the management of the restaurant will see this review and make sure such scandalous behavior doesn’t not...

I am not the one who takes things like this to the Internet, but my experience was just shocking

Me and my five-year old son travelled from Dubai to Stockholm, wanted to have a quick early dinner. Arrived there at the opening at 5pm. Were welcomed and let in

Two minutes later as we were at the table we were told, we couldn’t stay because the whole place was fully booked… And this was the owner who then kicked us out

Let me remind you: it was 5pm, we were inside, and all 40 tables were completely empty

I would understand a politely communicated “no child policy”, but not this was rude, arrogant, money-grabbing behavior. I would take the owner to the court of I was back home

Ok food, but the service was awful. We were told we could not order starters because we had to vacate our table after 90 minutes. I’m not sure what my host was told when he made his reservation, but fine if there was a time limit. However, 90 min should have been fine to have a starter. If the restaurant can’t cook a starter and a main in 90 minutes, that is the restaurant’s problem, not the guest’s. The waiter did not want to be there and clearly showed his contempt for us.
