Restaurang Måsen — Restaurant in Stockholm

My sister and I went here the other day for my birthday and were unfortunately quite disappointed with our experience as a whole. Some of these things we would not have cared about but the treatment of the restaurant manager (Felix) and the owner (Rima) were ultimately below all standards.

Firstly, we had booked a table, we arrived on time and were told to wait in the bar because they had not reserved our table for us. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. Secondly, we were seated right next to the grill, resulting in smoke from the grill coming directly on to us. To be fair, we asked for a different table and were moved to a better spot shortly after. Thirdly, our wait time for food was long (1.5 hrs for any food), the food itself was OK, some dishes were balanced well, while others were way too salty (the kebab especially).

As we ordered a fair amount of food we were unable to finish all of it, so we asked one of the waitresses for a take-away container. Instead of seeing what she could do for us she started making excuses about how they just recently opened and didn't have many things in stock, including a take-away container. She told us to "keep at it" in regards to our food. We later asked Felix for a take-away container and he was able to quickly source one for us. So the first waitress was just making up excuses for no reason.

We paid our bill (which seemed larger than expected, but we did not question it at the time) and headed home. At home we received a text message from the restaurant host saying that we paid the wrong bill (we paid more than 3x the amount of what we should have paid, roughly 3300 kronor, including a 5% tip). They told us to come back to the restaurant in order to settle a refund, however as we were already home this was not an option for us. The host was generally not helpful in trying to find an alternative to us returning to the restaurant but insisted we should come the following day. As we asked them to send our actual bill - we discovered they had charged us for a dish that we never received (roughly 100 kronor). We ordered 10 dishes but received only 9 (luckily we had taken a photo of all our dishes and spotted the discrepancy). In summary, they owed us roughly 2470 kronor and were not helpful in finding a solution nor apologetic about their mistake.

The following day they offered to transfer the money to our bank account (finally) but did not transfer the full amount as they thought they did not owe us the tip, mind you we paid a 5% tip on a bill more than 3x larger than what we should have paid. At no point prior to this had they offered to transfer us the money. After we asked for the full amount of what they owed to be refunded (including tip), the owner of the restaurant (Rima) transferred us the remainder of the money and sent us a text message stating how "restaurants make mistakes and you don't have to be so rude". At no point did they ask for feedback on our experience or take proper responsibility for their F up.

Förra året lovebombade jag Miss Brown & Lille Sixten trots lite barnsjukdomar . (De hade bara haft öppet i 6 dagar) I år åt vi förvisso inte utan hängde på barsidan. Alla bord med utsikt var fulla av glas men vi satte oss vid ett i hopp om att de skulle plockas bort. Vi tog en dyr öl 65 kr för 25 cl och en Aperol Spritz för 165 kr. Nåväl det kan det väl vara värt för att få sitta i kvällssolen. Min väninna som aldrig varit där tidigare beställde in andra omgången. Det var en annan bartender då som säger när hon beställer sin öl och sitt bubbel: -"Man får inte beställa bara en öl". "ok men jag har beställt en öl tidigare", svarade hon. Han ställer ändå fram 2 öl och hon orkade inte tjafsa utan tog dem. Jag undrar vad tillståndsmyndigheten säger om att man tvingar gäster att köpa mer än de vill ha? Vi satt där i 2 timmar och under den tiden var det ingen som gjorde en ansats att plocka disk från borden. Vad hände? Är barfolket en andra klassens gäster som man inte behöver värna om? Rekommenderar inte det här stället såvida det inte var en engångsföreteelse. Vill påpeka att jag inte recenserar restaurangdelen men jag hoppas verkligen inte att det är likadant på den...

Amazing restaurant located in one of the nicest parts of Stockholm! We had nice drinks at the bar and enjoyed the unbelievable view before we got our table and ordered the food.
