The hostess gave me a nice table by myself - the waitress quickly showed up with bread and since I was ready, took my order saying “this is the best “ or some such thing. I love the strong flavor of the flat bread - the butter with salt.. A large table was then seated next to me but they turned out to be quieter than the couples all around. After people ate the volume of the restaurant rose - shiny happy voices. The decor is intricate crown molding modern lights and odd pairing of quilts and glass art - I quite enjoyed it. Comfortable pleasant and delicious food. I ordered the meatballs and will dream of the perfect combination of the brownish gravy, berries and …a dash of potato.. ahh. Elegant looking restaurant with great local food. Came in around 2100 on a Tuesday and the place was nearly empty. Great food and great service. They start by giving a nice bread basket with butter. We shared the Smörgåsbord (the Swedish version of tapas) was very good. I went for the safe choice of beef steak which did not disappoint and was cooked just how I liked it (medium rare), my colleagues had the char fish and seemed to enjoy himself. Although the food was more than allright,our experience wasn't all that well... The waiters where probably understaffed... But it resulted in us waiting for 40 minutes before they took our order. From then on our dishes followed swiftly but we had slight difficulties ordering extra drinks and couldn't be bothered ordering dessert or coffee... Ashame because the environment was nice and the food, both smorgasbord and main course (tuna and the meatballs)...
