Pinchos Norrlandsgatan — Restaurant in Stockholm

I had high expectations for this visit but unfortunately they were not fulfilled... Our orders for drinks and food - we never/rarely got confirmed when they were ready! We went up to desks and there were our food - a bit cold or the dessert had started melting. I asked a runner where I could pick up desserts, both in swedish and English and he simply didn't understand what I asked for... when another person of my party changed the words in my question he could answer... The delays with food and drinks made our stay so much longer than it supposed and some of our party had an appointment afterwards which made it all stressful. First round of food we got, we had to ask a staff member walking by, to clear our table... And no one checked with us during the night, if the food was okey or if we needed anything... So, food was good but the system doesn't...

This place always puts a smile on my face. It's not your avarage restaurant, the decor and environment makes you feel like you are a kid at the circus. There is no waiters serving you, instead you download an app from which you order the food and also pay the bill afterwards, something that have been a very smooth experience. When your food or drinks are ready you'll get an notification on your phone and you then go pick it up yourself. My only complaint is that they have a very talented photographer that makes the dishes look a lot bigger then they are and you sometimes forget that this is a tapas restaurant - you are supposed to order 4-6 different dishes from the around 20 available. The staff were okay, the person that greeted us was awkward and another one didn't listen or understand what we asked so they just gave us a random answer without really knowing what they were talking about. The food was tasty, it is tapas styled but very expensive for what you get. We had to wait a super long time to get our food, even though the staff recommended that we order multiple times instead of ordering everything at once. I waited 30 minutes for a slider and fries. We also had to get the food ourselves, like an overpriced fast food restaurant. When we paid they had the audacity to ask for tips, even though there was nothing to tip.
