I don't recommend this place at all This place looked nice on Maps, but as it turned out, that was almost the only thing going for it. The food was also good, nothing special, tasted fine, had better. But the negatives were piling up from the start. The place was not even half full, but we waited five minutes till a waiter came to us offering a table. A little longer than it should be, but it's fine, they looked busy. The real waiting started at the table. 15 minutes in a waiter come to our table, who did not speak english, in a Swiss city with a tri-border. He said the other waiter can speak great english (no he couldn't, but we were getting somewhere with him). We ordered an Aprol Spritz and a Cola. He asked if we wanted some water. We said yes. Bad move, it was on the receipt at the and at a nice price of 9.50 CHF or 10.12 EUR at the time for 1 LITER OF STILL WATER. We desputed it and got 2 turkish tea free of charge at least. Then I asked if the garlic shrimp comes with any sides. The waiter said it comes with bulgur. Not it's not, but after some back and forth, we got the bulgur on the house, because of the waiter's mistake. Overall experience: way understaffed resaturant with more than acceptable waiting times, waiters not knowing english and just a whole bunch of misunderstandings for premium prices.

We went here for lunch on a hot sunny day and found the location particularly good. Set just back from the busy Barfüsserplatz we sat outside and enjoyed the shady side of the eating area. Although we didn't eat inside, it looked very inviting, authentically decorated and with plenty of seating. Foodwise we both opted for one of the daily menus which came with a little starter (soup/salad) and a little dessert included. Flavours were great and the prices were very good for the location. Another local to add to our favorites!

Absolutely delightful service and food! ALL HALAL! Booked this place as we were visiting Basel and the Turkish food was absolutely divine! The service was also fabulous ✅ My husband loved his kebabs and the meat was approved by him 💯 My veal Lahmacun was absolutely mouthwatering delicious! They also have non alcoholic drinks! Everything was amazing! The owners are also always present in the restaurant! I would definitely come back here 🤩

This restaurant looked promising, but our experience was largely disappointing. While the food was decent, the service was severely lacking. It was clear the restaurant was kind of understaffed , leading to a short but uncomfortable wait just to be seated, followed by long waits to place our orders. Communication was a major issue, as our waiter didn't speak English well, leading to several misunderstandings. We were also unpleasantly surprised by the high cost of the still water we didn't explicitly ask for. In the end, we had to go back and forth with the staff over a series of mix-ups, which ultimately soured our...

As a Turkish person I can guarantee that one of the best places to eat any kind of kebab in Europe. Also it is perfect because they have many vegetarian/vegan/pescaterian options. Also all the meat is halal and can be considered also kosher. Also at the same time they are serving alcohol which is perfect for groups with various dietery preferences...

Reccomendation: Order mix kebab plate but for one person less and order some side dishes to try :) Also leave space for the desert because we couldn't... Pricing is in the Switzerland level is pretty acceptable. Nice people and nice staff. They also speak Turkish and...
