We came during Art Basel, not having reserved a table at high time business hours in the evening and were- of course- sent away. We just insisted on ourselves we do want to dine here - due to a gallerist colleague right across the road who recommended this place and we just would not leave. period. So seemingly everyone who had a say in whatever territory regarding the restaurant business, tried to sent us away, until someone showed mercy and said: Ok, I just do it, someone who reserved is 20 mins late by now, and you can have the table. Anyhow, we take it that it was all due to Baselworld, the place being fully booked and the staff being overwhelmed. I have heard from others that it usually is a different experience, so I will give it another...

It is fine dining although the clients are of the casual types. The place is also filled with art and a lot of bronze sculpture. Starters, main course and the amusing dessert rolling station are all exceptional. The service staff are like figures from a 50s black and white movie with impeccable manners and service. The filleted Branzino with fresh spinach is an outstanding choice for...
