Lack of education for absurd prices. The blonde woman with glasses doesn't know to say hello. I corrected her by saying hello first, she asked me if I wanted to look first. When I finally received my croissant she didn't say thank you nor good bye. Another time I took a coffee for take away, I burnt my tongue so bad it was. Nothing is italian, nor the language. If you open google translate and put labels like 'casa' for eating on premises and 'strada' for take away, sincerely you are illiterate. Pane con carne means nothing. The food is ok, but be aware of their pricing. There's a rough 8% difference if you eat and get served at a table compared to when you order to go. Also side salads are just about as expensive as a sandwich. Especially if your sandwich is already about €10 euros, the same amount for a simple salad is way overpriced. A delightful little Italian restaurent, in the heart of Basel, serving different specialities from Italy.

Has all the flavours and smells of Italy. I had a cup of coffee and a panino for a late breakfast. Was quite tasty.

The waitress are very friendly but they miss the charm and wit of a typical Italian restaurent. Sadly they do not speak Italian.
