We went there excited seeing the positive reviews on google, hoping for very good and authentic asian food, unfortunately our overall experience was not recommandable and we wouldn't come back. We took 2 starters that we shared, the Tom kha soup and the Papaya salad, which were presented well and were pretty good even though they were pretty expensive for just starters. Our big deception came from the main dishes, we had 2x Soba noodles with Duck, 1x Soba noodles vegeterian and 1x Fried rice with chicken. They were presented in warmed and very nice plates so presentation was very nice, however the most important is how the food tastes and the price. The soba noodles sauce was too sweet with barely any veggies, the duck was dry and served in big chunks which didn't make it enjoyable. The fried rice had a good woke hay but that's about it, barely any veggies or variation. And when you consider prices of 44 CHF for one of those it is way overpriced. With such high prices we expected way more authenticity and quality. The service was also relatively slow, and not the most professional or welcoming. On top of that all 4 of us had bad stomach issues later that night and the next day, really disappointing considering the excessive price we paid (280 CHF for 4 persons) to get stomach pain and well presented average asian food. P.S. The Yuzu Sour cocktail for 19 CHF was also not worth it, it is quite small and just not up to standard.

I do not recommend Noohn, at least not their high-tables concept over lunch. I've been twice, the first time I took a portion of fried rice back to the office, and the second I had lunch at their high tables. Their fried rice is overpriced and rather bland if you don't squeeze the lemon over it. On site, I had to get my food from the kitchen counter myself. Funny concept when you pay the price they charge. On site, I had their Salmon Teriyaki dish and it was fairly priced to be honest. However, not a crazy amount of flavour and didn't have the kick I expected. A smaller section of the restaurant has table service and otherwise you can also sit along a sushi conveyor belt. Both options sound enticing and I look forward to trying these section of the restaurant soon.

My second time eating and drinking here, but my first time at their rooftop. Food was good. We had the sushi/sashi variety, edemame, and gyoza. It wasn't as good as the dinner service downstairs, but bc i know how delicious the dinner offering was downstairs i kept the rating at 5 stars. There was only 1 waiter on the roof and that was difficult for him to cover all the patrons. And we had to wait to get his attention. Especially when he was in the back or getting food and then the rooftop would be unmanned for those few moments at a time. I didn't want to rate service 4 stars bc it's not his fault, but i believe two people would be more prudent for service upstairs. Atmosphere was top. No criticism here.

We ordered tuna tataki with wakame salad. It came without. The server insisted to me that this IS a wakame salad (I’m brown so maybe he thought I didn’t know). Only when my husband flagged him down the 2nd time and asked him to point out the wakame, did he admit there was none and went on to bring us some. 2nd course, we ordered sushi and a teriyaki poke bowl. Sushi was pricy for a plate that looked empty and poor, dry and unappetising. And the poke bowl came with an avocado on top that was turning brown, was hard and completely dry, exactly like one used on a display dish left in open air all day. It was inedible. Again we tried to call the server but he just ignored us this time. So we just removed the avocado and had the dish without. Once we were finished with everything , we waited for 15 mins for him to notice us and come for the bill , completely ignored us. We were with a baby and it was getting quite late, so we finally got up to pay at the counter requesting that we would like to leave. There he kept us standing too continuing to serve others (note that the restaurant was not super full) saying that he has other customers to serve. I don’t know , maybe he was offended that I was right about the wakame and decided to hand out a not so great treatment to us? Also paying 40 chf for a dish and getting it with old and dried out avocado? If they were out, they could find a better one at the supermarket for under 2 chf … And to top it all, the attitude of the server. So no, do not recommend and...

It's said by many people to be the best sushi place they tried, but I can't agree with this. I tried a sushi set, and some of the combinations worked out really well and were quite delicious, but some of them were just too dry and not enjoyable. A couple of my sushi just broke apart and I couldn't pick them with sticks. But the fish and other ingredients were really fresh, so all in all it was okay. I also tried gyoza as a starter and they were fried too much. They were very crispy, but I almost couldn't taste anything. The only way I can describe the taste is - something deeply fried with the dough. As a dessert I tried mochi which is a frozen dessert. It was extremely hard to eat it with the dessert spoon. Maybe it would be nice to unfreeze the mochi a bit before serving, cause there was no way I could carefully take a piece of mochi, it was just sleeping and running away like a piece of ice. I was literally afraid that it will just pop out of the plate at one point. All in all - the place is not bad, it's okay. Maybe there were just too many customers when I was there, cause I had an impression that it was just a bad day to try the food there and usually they can make it way better. Unfortunately I was unlucky and didn't enjoy my food, so I have to give them...
