TUK - Thai Urban Kitchen — Restaurant in Basel

It’s not top Thai food quality and taste, but I give it 5 stars as it’s at the train station (where one expects high price and relatively low quality in general). I spent a long day on the train with sandwiches meal the whole day and was happy to find this Thai food outlet at Basel SBB. Fair price (chf 20.90 for rice with chicken, small Tom yum soup and a drink). There were even 3 good-size prawns in the Tom yum soup! In short, decent food, friendly service. Will go again when I need a quick meal...

I bought a cup of tea at the restaurant next door. We sat at her table because we were going to order food from her. Before we could get situated, she came out, screaming at us saying this was her table and we had to leave. Mind you, we didn't even get a chance to order. The owner was RUDE BEYOND COMPREHENSION! DO NOT SPEND🙄 YOUR MONEY HERE! Swiss hospitality ruined for us on our first day
