Probaby my favourite bakery in Switzerland. I love the idea ro avoid food waste and I love even more the prices. My brother and I got 3 tasty sandwiches 2 dessert optioks for 13 franks. Very affordable for an expensive city. The service was lovely and the lady serving us was patient with us in English and explained all the different options.

There was a small seating area too.

Overall great vibes, great food and great prices. Highly...

I found this place by accident. Easy to miss if you are walking through the arches.

Descend the stairs and you'll find a shop/cafe selling "fresh from yesterday" food including sandwiches, tarts and cakes.

Prices are VERY cheap (for Switzerland) and I'd recommend this for anyone on a tight budget.

It's in the basement! Watch your head going down the stairs, low overhang. You can taste that it's a day old, the breads and donuts are harder but it still tastes good. For about 2CHF, hard to beat. Good for a pit stop while walking along Bern's main street.
