I just ordered from them, and am so happy that I am writing a review right away. This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Geneva. My parents are from Taiwan, and I lived there as a child. I wasn't expecting to find Taiwanese food here (granted this is only a very small sample of Taiwanese food), and had very low expectations for this place since I have generally been disappointed with Asian food here. This place is great for several reasons. First, I actually think they are very reasonably priced! I'm not sure why people say it isn't--Geneva is a place where you pay 20 dollars for a hamburger meal (at Burger Kind nonetheless!). The price was well worth it. For about 20 francs you can get a ramen and a bao, which is a great deal. Second, the food was very good. I ordered one of every type of their baos, and the classic pork belly was my favorite. The mushroom bao is very good too. I had the pork belly ramen, which was flavorful, though the noodles were a bit soggy since we got delivery (maybe try separating the noodles from the soup). Thirdly, and this is a big plus, for delivery all of their containers are paper based! Including the soup containers! Many take out places use a lot of single use plastics, which are now contaminating our environment. The paper based soup container worked very well. Obviously it won't hold us as long as plastic, but you really don't need it to you. Everything arrived at our door in good condition. I would highly...
Read moreI was very very excited to try this restaurant as I crave Gua Bao, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The Gua Bao is actually good, both the fillings and Bao,so I would recommend it. However, the ramen is a non non! Noodles are soggy, and soup base is salty and not special at all. What's funny is they stuck 2 raw Bak Choy on top of the ramen, I meant we really dun do that, we cook them especially with hot noodles. That is just very weird. The reason why I put 4 instead of 3 is the atmosphere and decor there, it's certainly hip and trys to create the old street food scene in Taiwan so I give a star for that. One thing they should not do is serve with disposable cutlery given it is a sit down place, nobody does that in this environmentally...

Bao Canteen may seem like another upcoming super trendy place, but be aware the food quality for a Taiwanese food spot isnt as on point as the decoration is.
Unfortunately the food was quite bland, my gf and i ordered the noodles dishes ( pork and tofu) the broth on both was disappointing, the pork seem like it was just oven baked and nothing else, very small flavor profile and no spiciness. The tofu noodle dish felt like the tofu didnt even get boiled before added to the noodle dish.
In addition, when we came in the restaurant we noticed that there was Taiwanese or at least...
