The tacos here are based on small, round, corn tortillas, as they well should be! And, while there's an option for ground cheese on top it's not the default. The house salsa is really good, and there are bottled commercial hot-sauces available as well. You can step it all the way up to Psycho Juice if you need a religious experience.

My only complaint is that the tortillas are not made fresh, so they don't have that light, fluffy, falling apart quality that you get in Mexico.

They make california-style burritos too, which seems to be what most people were choosing.

I just wanted to note for the record that marwahob's review below seems to be about a different place entirely. Taco Rico doesn't have table service (you stand in line at the grill as nature intended), nor do they have tartar or gaspacho.

Nadia's review seems to be for another place too. I think she's talking about Supreme Tacos which offers "tacos à...

A decent Tex-Mex restaurant in Geneva, opposite the Bastion UNIGE branch. The restaurant portions are great for the prices paid! It's not cheap, but they serve decently unlike the other other so called Mexican restaurants in town. 1000x better than El Catrin. Here, you get what you pay in quality and fillings. The servers are kind and speaks English too. We order the special taco carnitas, which isn't in the menu, so asked the chef, if they had some in the back. The margarita was prepared properly, it was fresh, and it was ice cold with salted rims in a proper cocktail glass. Perfecto! Their burrito 🌯 are good and they fill to the brim, so if you eat of their burrito, you will leave satisfied. They offer even student menus, so recommend flashing your IDs and get the discounts. Their service is quite fast, so it's great for take away. Best to buy the menus and enjoy it at the...

This review is based on the tacos i ordered. I ordered the trio of tacos, beef, pork and chicken. So, to start off, the fillings for each taco was quite a lot, impossible to pick up without half of it falling out; so good sized portions. However, there was still a lot of juices from the meat and salsa, which in turn did start to make the tacos a bit soggy and when you picked it up, all the juices would run down on to your hands, making this a very messy meal. With all the mess that was being made, it was quite hard for me to get a real sense of the proper taste of the tacos. I am a little bit vain so eating a messy meal wasn't really ideal for me. Just to reiterate, this was my experience based on the tacos. If i had ordered something else, then perhaps things would have...

Just what you need to fulfill your tex mex cravings. It has great choice of tacos, burritos and nachos. Portions are very big and for a decent price. We had nice beef burito and nachos. 1 burito with everything was enough to fill 2 adults and was super tasty. You can have mild and tastier version as usual. Inside is very clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely try to come later.

I was a little disappointed with this attempt. We ordered taco boeuf piquant taco poulet BBQ and Burrito Picadillo. Boeuf tastes okay, but the chicken is too dry. Burrito is not recommended and tasteless. About an hour after eating, we all had diarrhea. I don't know if it was the reason for eating this. The staff is not very enthusiastic, maybe the work is too hard!
