The restaurant looks nice and is well decorated. The food tastes really good, but unfortunately when we were there the staff missed the mark. We were with a party of 5 with a reservation. We were welcomed nicely, but from there it went downhill. The lady waiting our table was rather grumpy and unpleasant. After a while we could place our order and we wanted to order some wine. She said the sommelier will be with you shortly, but in the end we had our starters, but hadn't been able to order the wine yet. We asked for some plates, butter and olive oil with the bread that was put on the table. After asking a different waiter we finally got a little packet of butter with a plate to share. Our questions seemed like too much effort. For the main I ordered a steak (it's a steakhouse) and asked for it to be cooked red. It came close to well done. I asked the same lady for it to be redone, which was met with a growl after which I did get a new steak. If you have steaks on the menu for €80 and up per dish, you should cook this right or be happy to redo it if it goes wrong. The sommelier could also not be bothered, and we sat without wine for a while as we were unable to refill our glasses as the wine was put somewhere out of our reach. We were willing to order much more, but we ended with 1 bottle of wine for the entire evening for a party of 5. At the end a young gentleman took over the service, and he was very friendly and engaging with us, which saved it a bit. All in all a disappointing experience due to the lack of service. Yes it was a busy evening, and yes it was a hot evening, but there were plenty of staff walking around, and a smile doesn't cost a thing. For the food I'd recommend to go here, and I would give them the benefit of the doubt that we just had a waitress who just had a bad day.

Underwhelming and terrible value for money. The place is convenient because it’s open past 2pm and on Sundays. But that’s pretty much everything it has going for it. I had the tartare (pic attached) and it was one of the worst i’ve had in Geneva. They did’t ask how I like it seasoned, which is unusual, and when it came it was far too seasoned. The presentation was something out of the Flintstones, displaying the meat on top of a huge bone. The tartare was spread all along like a very large piece of s. It’s the XXL 300g version, they didn’t have smaller, and it was far too much meat. The whole experience was terrible. Ecoeurant, for those who speak French. Friends had the cote de boeuf for two. Meat was chewy, poorly cooked, hard to cut and full of fat. Considering one pays per gram, it was a total rip-off as they had two third meat and one third fat. As this restaurant considers itself a steakhouse, maybe focus on making good steak. Food for thought. Other friends had the burger. It was, just as the restaurant itself, underwhelming, simple and boring. While a simple burger is generally the best, i would expect a 42fr burger to have more work put into it. Basically imagine yourself in a former Soviet seaside resort somewhere in Albania and you ordered the burger. It’d be pretty much the same. Finally, someone ordered the chicken and that someone was pleased. Well done to the chef for knowing how to cook chicken. Please note that nothing comes with sides. They forgot our sides order except for the insipid spinach purée, which i imagine even Popeye would roll his eyes to. All in all, overpriced, terrible value for money, below average food. Not recommended.

The quality of the service is not what is used to be We have been there several times, but last diner (back in January) we had there has been a complete disaster from the beginning to the end. Our bill was almost 1k CHF for 4 people - for which you would expect to have a nice time and a minimum of service. the waiter is giving me (fully pregnant) a tartare as a starter while i ordered no starter at all it took more than 30 minutes to get the main course - no excuse whatsoever about the waiting time i had to scream to a waiter to get more water as everyone was running past our table without looking at us our table was not cleaned for the desert - and we had no mignardises while everyone else around got this treatment i asked if there was raw egg in the ice cream as the profiteroles looked amazing ... 10 min later still no feedback, not knowing if i was getting this treat to change the note of the diner: well i had to ask the waiter to get an update "yes there is raw egg, so do you want it?" the hostess closing the door in front of my nose (this one might be even more of an issue with the pregnancy sensitivity). Overall a disaster - and while i dont like posting such negative review, this is the only way i found to share this experience. And i could not even appreciate the quality of the food (my carrot was way to salty, which is the only thing i remember from the food side).

It used to be a delight to go there - not sure i ll come back...
