Unacceptable Discrimination and Humiliation!!

I had an appalling experience at Rooftop 42 . I was denied entry solely because I wore a headscarf. Two ugly looking security men made me feel humiliated and unwelcomed, treating me in a way that was both discriminatory and deeply offensive.

In a city like Geneva, which prides itself on internationalism and diversity, this kind of behavior is shocking and unacceptable. No one should have to endure such disrespect because of their personal choices, cultural identity or religion .

I would strongly advise anyone who values inclusivity, diversity and respect to avoid this establishment all together. SHAME ON Y’ALL!!!

Also don’t come under this review with “ its not particular to headscarf/ hijabs, we also don’t allow berets, hats and all”. You are not as sly as you think you are, we all know what this is about. Again...

The receptionist does not know what is hospitality. I was told to sit at the bar inside for a while and she’ll advise me if there’s any place she could put me in the outer terrace. I ordered drinks and waited patiently for over 45 minutes. I then went to the reception and kindly asked if she can confirm there’s likely to be any table for me tonight otherwise I’ll just go. She checked the asked “just for you right?”… I have told her 45 minutes ago and it seems she completely forgot about me, the guest she put in the bar waiting. She didn’t express any sorry at all, not even a fake one. What kind of owner would hire such person, or is she the owner? Nice view but please don’t downgrade this place with horrible...

I have been there few times, and it was a super bad experience for the recent time that I went with my friends - We arrived at the building and the bouncer was asking us 'where do you think you are going?' And he clearly discriminated us as we are 3 Asians & 1 African. He claimed that we did not dress up properly, but at least we wore long pants & polo tee/ long sleeve shirt. The people in front of us got to get in even they wore jeans plus v-neck T-shirt. Just because they could speak french and we couldn't??? I didn't expect such a so called 'premium bar' will treat their customers like that.. very bad at hiring such bouncer. I guess this is why you will never get a good crowd as mentioned by other...
