Brasserie Lipp We fell on Brasserie Lipp by chance while in Geneva for one night only and Wow what a find, it’s next to a small shopping centre and on the first floor above the high street shops to difficult to spot, we hadn’t booked and they managed to squeeze us in, the atmosphere was excellent very bustling and busy, Our waiter (David) was brilliant and real René Artois from Allo Allo complete with apron. The menu is varied French style brasserie all looked delicious when passing our table from the kitchen. Our order arrived all together and wow everything was top class, lovely side dishes too, I had the chicken in cream sauce with mushrooms and can recommend, very generous portions all with amazing service. I would definitely recommend finding this place if you’re in Geneva.

My partner booked here for our engagement celebration dinner and stated that when booking online, there was nothing extra added to the dinner, would have been nice to make our evening extra special. We also booked for a set time and when we arrived we had to stand in the hallway and wait and extra few minutes to be seated while other people came in and got seated right away which was a little annoying. We ordered the fish pie and steak with mash,my steak wasn’t cooked medium more medium rare and mash was cold, the fish pie was nice. Dessert was the best part! We got the profiteroles which had ice cream and warm chocolate sauce and the chocolate mousse. Service was a little slow but staff were very friendly and nice! Very affordable dinner at about €100 for both including two mains, two waters and two desserts, only downside is the tables are super squashed and you have to pull out the table to sit in the banquette area. Very traditional French food and decor was timeless!

This is a good spot for fine dining, especially when you bring your date here. Located in a corner alley of Rue Bémont, it is very easy to find. Let's get straight to the place, it is very classic, and service is good. The waiter is very passionate in introducing every food that we choose even gave us a right recommendation. He did also take a great photo of us (you can see him walking towards us). The wine's selection is varied (well I am not a wine aficionado, so don't trust me on this) Food's wise, the oyster was great! , but the clam is okay while the steak is a bit too hard (there is a room for improvement). However, we have a great night here! Seriously. A great place to enjoy night in Geneve.

Nice restaurant near the lake, it was bustling and yet we found a table quickly on a Thurs evening (2pers). The service is very good, lots of staff who are very kind. Got 2 appetizers: the artichoke and Lipp salad. The salad was ok, though nothing life changing but the artichoke was rather old and tough to eat..the sauces were good but underwhelmed by the artichokes toughness. Main course was good, I had a tuna with veggies and a sauce made with sun dried tomatoes. The tuna was very good, cooked just right (pink in the middle). They have a big wine menu to choose from. A bit pricey for the food we got in my opinion..

Absolutely delicious! The chicken with cream sauce and morels and French onion soup we had as a starter were incredibly good, and the mussels and fries were just fine, though not necessarily the best I’ve had. The service was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the small burner candles they put on the table to keep your food warm while you ate! Very clever addition for the colder months where you just want to chat and stay cozy over dinner. The decor is clean and classy, though it does get a bit loud with the tile floors, so come a bit earlier if you’re looking for a quieter night out.

Visited this place as a group of 3 children and 2 adults. I would say good service overall, and amazing burger. We also ordered a steak and mussels and 2 more items which I cannot remember. The management could have been more polite. Even though we needed a table for an hour only, the man who appeared to be the head waiter was difficult and unfriendly over it. Eventually we were sat at a good table by the lovely waitress, quickly ate and left with our children. So he needn't stress about vacating our table for guests who would probably not arrive for another hour or so.
