This comes a bit late, but six years ago, in 2013 I went to The Holy Cow. Now, before this I had eaten about three burgers in my entire life. Suffice it to say: I was not convinced. I thought they were malnutricious fattowers stacked with carbohydrates and diabetes.
But then, during a long weekend in Geneva visiting CERN (also pretty awesome, by the way) some friends fancied a burger and we went to the holy cow. I had a veggie zest and suddenly my life changed. It was. The best. Fast food. Ever. Its tasty, rich in ingredients, utterly devine food which must have been God's Sunday afternoon project while the kids were out playing. Their burgers are pure bliss and happiness packed between two buns. We went back twice.
Is it an overstatement that THC has the best burgers in Europe and might just be the actual center of the universe? I should think not. My life now is filled with gourmet burgers, classic beef burgers, varied veggies, and has become all the better for it. The Holy Cow is love. The Holy Cow is life. I recommend everyone in Europe to visit it. Are you in Norway or Bulgaria? Yes, it /is/ worth the trip.
I long for the day we meet again, THC. I'll dream of you until once more I'll hold you. Until once more you'll look at me. We'll kiss and perform that beautiful human-burger dance I know you so love.

Read moreGo there a few times a year for lunch and I like this place. The food is very tasty. There is a big selection of different beef, chicken and vegetarian burgers. The meat is very good and I especially like the Maui Maui burger. However I wouldn't say it is really gourmet, because the burger in the menu isn't special at all. The french fries are okay, but they usually put a little bit too much salt. Overall I like the food. The service is okay. You order and they bring the food at your table, you have to take ketchup, and all these things yourself. Sometimes it is relatively slow and you have to wait quite a bit four your "fast" food. But it's not always like that, so it's okay. The big downside of this place is the interior. The tables aren't cleaned (or aren't cleaned enough), because there are usually rests of previous customers. And the place overall isn't very clean and looks old. I would the other Holy Cow in Geneva if you want a better atmosphere. In conclusion I would certainly recommend this place if you haven't tried, however I won't go there regularly, but sometimes it can be a good choice if you want...
Read moreGourmet? Far from it. A classic fast food restaurant.
I ordered the classic big beef menu. The burger was probably with ham and had a very strong taste, but was relatively dry. The (sour sweet) seasoning didn't do any good to it. The chips were good.
On the selection of drinks they have their own proprietary (Swiss) ones (holy cola, Apfelschorle, iced tea), so don't expect the American brands if you were looking for them.
My 13 old companion also didn't like the meat, but the chips saved the meal.
The place was not that clean (leftovers of previous meal on the table). After you order, the meal is delivered to the table. It looked like the same person is taking orders and preparing food, and it took our food some time to arrive (not very fast food). We visited during the low hours, so there weren't any other orders in line, maybe except for one family that...
