Restaurant Asia Garden — Restaurant in Geneva

Catastrophic experience. We ordered the Tipan and Sichuan beef. The meat was like rubber, extremely chewy, almost synthetic. "Crispy" chicken (see picture) was tough and some pieces were soggy and overall very oily and fat. The vegetable noodles were gimmicky and tasteless.

As soon as we tasted the beef dishes, we canceled both of them, but the waitress strongly insisted on bringing us new ones. It was even more rubbery the second time.

They refunded us the Sichuan beef, but not the Tipan beef or the noodles. We argued with the waiter to refund us for items that we didn't eat and made us feel sick, he disagreed. He said, "it's a matter of taste" or that the dishes ending up in the bin was a big loss for them as they had to pay the staff, the rent and other costs. They added that we didn't like it "because of the meat quality", but then wanted to prove to us that the meat was fresh, which was confusing. They explained that since we "asked" to bring new dishes they couldn't refund us, but they simply didn't let us cancel. The waiter was very condescending and his tone got a bit aggressive, he just wanted us to leave.

They fought to make us pay 35 CHF more, but the worst part was the low food quality and how they treated us.

AmazingLast time I didn’t have time to give a feedback for this restaurant. Now I will write down my experience to you all who want to have a good meal in Geneva.

• Service : The staffs are super friendly always ask if you need something.

• Good food!! Dishes are well prepared. Prices & Taste are super. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for everyone. The food has original tastes of Chinese cuisine. It is suitable with both local clients and travellers. We can ask them to add or make less spicy as we want.

• Location : super covenient. The restaurant is located right in front of the Gare Cornavin (Geneva’s main station. It’s also closed to many hotels around the main station.

• Additional suprise!!! Last time I visited Geneva. I had dinner in Boky but the Bubble tea shop were not here. I am so so so suprise that I can have a Taiwanese bubble milk tea in hand while travelling in Europe. I ordered the Taro Latte & a Blueberry bubble milk tea. Price are so so but its worth. Taste good!!

We had a terrible experience here, I would not recommend. The service was really bad - we waited for over an hour for three dishes. And when the food did arrive it arrived at different times for all of us and without the rice/noodle accompaniments. After asking them and following up they explained that on that particular night they were are understaffed. These things happen and we would have been more understanding had they been apologetic or polite about it or explained before hand instead of after 45 minutes. Instead, one of the servers was really rude when I asked where our accompaniments were. The food was also definitely not worth the wait, not bad but nothing great.
