Table Brute — Restaurant in Geneva

A Geneva Gem! I recently here with two friends after work. We were looking for a central spot that offered great food and wine, and this place did not disappoint! Tucked between two pedestrian streets, it offers outdoor seating and a beautiful, softly lit interior. Cosy and elegant, it’s ideal for dining with friends, colleagues, family, or a date. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who escorted us to the chef’s table and offered us an aperitif. The view into the bustling kitchen added an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. We started with the scallops and beetroot. As someone who has always been on the fence about beetroot, I can now truly say I’m a convert! The dish was not only beautifully presented (see photo), but surprisingly tasty. I was told that it's hard to find good food in Geneva but this restaurant gave us such a huge pleasant surprise :) Everything was amazing and we had a good experience. We arrived at 6 something before the dinner section was open but the server was very nice and communicated clearly with us so we returned at the right time. The service was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and design of the restaurant were classy and clean, and the food was perfect! Cleared our plates completely and made our first day in Switzerland perfect....

All over excellent. I had the foi gras which was an absolute delight. The portion size was larger than you would expect, but surprisingly light. The main dish I chose upon the waitors recommendation was the chef's signature: braised pork cheek. The meat's tenderness was next level. The depth of flavour was extraordinary.
