First evening stroll in Lucerne near the lake, we had a craving for ice cream. A lot of folks were lined up outside this shop so we decided to eat here. This was the first night in Lucerne so we did not know how famous Amorino was, also later discovered this is a chain and they are in most big cities in Europe. We didn’t think it would be that good but boy were we wrong, it was the best ice cream I had ever tasted!! We got the signature gelato and it was delicious we chose 3 flavors strawberry, chocolate, and mint chocolate chip with a mango macaron on top it was an amazing dessert so delicious I would definitely recommend this chain!!!!

Nous sommes des clients habituĂ©s Ă  prendre la glace Waffle Sticks dans d’autres filiales Amorino. Lors de notre visite Ă  Lucerne, nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs déçus du service et de la relation client. Tout d’abord, la vendeuse n’a pas terminĂ© d’écrire ma commande et est allĂ©e chercher des gaufres en me laissant sur le bas cĂŽtĂ©. À savoir que j’ai fait un effort de parler allemand, mais malgrĂ© cela, elle me parlait trĂšs rapidement. Je lui ai demandĂ© de mettre deux plus petites boules au lieu d’une normale. Mais quelle a Ă©tĂ© la dĂ©ception lorsque j’ai vu la quantitĂ© de glace mise dans le pot ! Avec la quantitĂ© qu’elle a mis, il y avait en tout moins d’une boule normale. C’était une gaufre Ă  la glace plutĂŽt qu’une glace avec des gaufres. Pour ce prix, si nous voulions manger une gaufre (par 30 degrĂ©s
) nous serions allĂ© ailleurs ! Les Waffle Sticks coĂ»tent 16.90.- donc nous nous attendons Ă  ĂȘtre servis comme d’habitude par rapport aux autres filiales. J’ai fait gentiment la remarque que d’habitude les glaces sont plus volumineuses et qu’il y a beaucoup plus de glace, de chantilly et de sauce. Et lĂ , la vendeuse m’a parlĂ© sĂšchement, l’air agacĂ© et en haussant des Ă©paules, en disant une phrase trĂšs rapide que je n’ai pas du tout compris. Nous avons toujours Ă©tĂ© satisfaits par les glaces Amorino que ce soit en Suisse (Morges) ou Ă  l’étranger (Sorrento et Porto). Mais lĂ , le service clientĂšle Ă©tait trĂšs dĂ©sagrĂ©able et non comprĂ©hensif. C’est dĂ©plorable de considĂ©rer les touristes de cette sorte, alors que j’ai fait un effort en m’adaptant et en parlant la langue locale. Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais.

You won’t believe what happened to me! I am allergic with milk so Andrea helped me. However, one of the three flavors we pocked I didn’t like, she came and asked me how is everything after she saw that I only eat a little pit. Tye crazy part is were she changed my cup with a whole new one right when I told her that I didn’t like it for free. What a way to show customer how much they care about us! It is a mind blowing. Great service, Great heed, and Great smile. Thank you and see you definitely next time ;)

You won’t believe what happened to me! I am allergic with milk so Andrea helped me. We didn’t think it would be that good but boy were we wrong, it was the best ice cream I had ever tasted!!

Bad customer service. I don’t understand, the picture on the menu shows hot chocolate with whipped cream and macaroon with it. Mine was made without. After asking the girl who made it why is it without cream she said it will be additional cost for it! So why is it shown with it on the menu? And for the price of 6.60 CHF! I asked again so what’s on the picture then? And girl’s reply was “I don’t know what it is!” đŸ˜łđŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™€ïž. Now I don’t even know how it supposed to be served, in order to claim my money back. Better ask how it comes before you see it on the menu picture since you won’t get...

I wish it was possible to give “ 0 stars” for this place. There was a piece of human nail in my child’s ice cream. I went back in to tell and instead of being apologetic they questioned us! Even though I didn’t ask for another ice cream (never happening form here again) or money back ,the staff was rude! We were so disgusted at that moment my kid threw the piece of nail immediately away. That’s why there is no picture!!! I wish I could have taught of taking a photo or video then. My family loved this place until the incident....
