This place was recommended by a store clerk in Sandro nearby, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. We specifically wanted to try the cheese fondue, but instead, we got a meat fondue, which is just broth with meat. At over 62 CHF per person, it was a total rip-off.
Despite the restaurant not being full, the service was painfully slow. When the meat fondue finally arrived, there was no visible flame to cook the food. The senior server insisted there was an invisible flame, but after waiting another 30 minutes with raw meat, we called him back. Only then did he realize the burner was off and needed to be lit.
By the time the flame was finally started, time had passed and our companions had already finished their meals. We ended up paying nearly 350 CHF for a horrible experience. This was the worst and most expensive not-hot pot I've ever had. I definitely won't be coming back. Save your money and go...
Read moreIf you want to experience active racism in the 21st century at one of the most developed countries, please do visit this place. We wanted to visit this place because we heard a lot about it. On requesting them for vegetarian options, they frowned and told us we only have these three and nothing else can be done for you. And when we decided to leave politely, they went to another table and made snooty remarks about "Indians". We do not know how wonderful an experience the other "non-Indians" have had here, but this is definitely not an experience any "human" would want. Thank you for making us feel less highly about your country and much better about ours. Atleast we have been taught to always treat our guests with utmost dignity...
Read moreWe came to the restaurant to get warmed up from the cold weather and the rain. The moment we were seated, our waiter rushed to take our order and then refused to make change to the order within minutes. We ordered 4 soup of the day and only one came out first before the other three soups were served. We had no spoons for the soup. No water was served. The waiter never asked if we wanted anything else. The waiter was rude and mean. We finally called the manager. I felt as though he was taking advantage of a tourist. We came back to Luzern to celebrate our 30th anniversary. What could have been a wonderful dinner turned out to be a cold dinner for everyone. Luzern is a beautiful city. But this restaurant needs to improve...
