Such a neat restaurant with the view of Lake Luzern! Le Piaf is conveniently located right by the Luzern train station within minutes of walking distance so you can easily find it if you go for lunch or dinner as you stroll around the city. They are a "seat-yourself" cafe bar where you order at the counter and find tables after. They have a grand selection of different house-made dishes, desserts and house roast coffee that are all super delicious! We went for dinner and we got their chicken stew and the pork belly along with the freshly made cheesecake for dessert. Both of these plates were super filling and the portion was super generous as it is also served with bread on the side. The pork belly was so tender yet crisp on the outside, it’s served with the curry mayo sauce that added extra spice to the pork belly juiciness (really delicious sauce)! The chicken stew was also super warm and thick creamy soup that tasted really homey as you pair it with the bread and veggies. Overall, the dishes were so filling but we still wanted to try the desserts as they all looked super good. Their cheesecakes were the perfect finish to the meal as they are not super sweet but still had the cheese creaminess that I really loved. Really cozy atmosphere, fast service, fair price and friendly staff. Would recommend this place also to try out for brunch because their brunch menu also sounded very tasty too. Sous Vide Schweinebauch - 27.00 CHF Coq au vin - 25.00 CHF Saisonale Sussigkei - 6.00 CHF

Self service at the counter. Portion size was excellent. Food was fresh and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Service was fast and friendly with a smile (Went around 2pm on a weekday) Waited less then a minutes in line and got my food in under 10 minutes. I ordered a Croque Madame (still not sure how to pronounce it) with a Sunny side egg on top. Cooked to perfection. This came with a small salad on the side. A nice surprise bonus I was not expecting. Orange juice was a bit pricey but it seemed fresh so I guess that’s what you pay for, including the pretty decor plus the the very very very soft napkins. A nice place to visit for a little treat every now and then.

The Ambience and location is really romantic, but the food....!!@#¿¿●! Did the cook wake up on the wrong side of the bed or was having a bad day? Or is the one who created these menu's and food combinations totally eccentric? The grilled sandwich with cheese was absolutely tasteless although it looked better than it tasted. The slice of bread was a merry mess of so-called grilled vegetables that were definitely not grilled and it was smeared with some tasteless pink beetroot humus. It was hard and leathery. Disgusting! The sweet potato fries were burnt and bitter. Never again....
