Great atmosphere, plenty of room, good selection of drinks. But the staff seem to be moody and get annoyed easily at small matters. Service can be tediously slow at the bar when busy with only two staff serving and nipping off into the back kitchen quite often. A few of the tables in an area to seat four or more are too small to fit food as well as drinks on if there's more than two customers and other high tables have an awkward second level platform that means you can't see the face of the person opposite you. Not sure what the purpose of these two tier high tables is, must be for some reason. If the staff were friendlier, I'd give this place 4 or 5 stars. Great Beer selection, authentic looking pub and ambience, but the older guy behind the bar (manager) needs definitely some serious soft skills training on how to talk to customers. I stayed friendly, while he bombed me quite unfriendly with all the rules how to use the 3 tables I have reserved. My guests were puzzled too about this discussion he had with me.
