ege market — Restaurant in Zurich

After asking our awesome Uber driver where we could find great food in Zurich... not fancy food, but GREAT food... he said that if we liked Turkish food he knew just the place. He also offered to take us to this restaurant free of charge after reaching our intended destination and even waited for us to drop off our gear at our hotel.

He took us to Ege and even went inside with us to introduce us to the staff and make sure we knew what was best to order. The later was no issue since everything looked delicious.

It was a wonderful surprise that this was indeed the best food I have had so far during my stay in Zurich. Delicious, authentic and amazingly cheap by Zurich standards.

Thank you Ege for being so friendly and for giving us exactly what we were looking for... and all for less than I’ve spent for a sandwich at the CoOp. And thank you to our gracious Uber driver for introducing us to...

Halal Turkish food.

Quick service, friendly and attentive staff. Tasty food. Big portions. Quite reasonable prices.

Ordered a double adana teller and a kofte teller. More than enough for two people.

Try the baklava and the Turkish tea too if you visit this place.
