NORDEN Bar — Restaurant in Zurich

This bar specializes in beers and liquors from the Nordic countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, etc. You'll find many brands not found anywhere else.

The ambience is spartan: the walls of the room are lined with wood and there are wooden tables and benches all around. I guess it's trying to look like a cabin in the far north, but it mostly looked empty to me. Not a lot of Scandinavian "hygge" to be found here.

The service was friendly and our cocktails were okay — some simple long drinks but...

Really special selection of beers. The atmosphere is super nice, Nordic vibes also thanks to the decor of the place, it's really a great place to spend the evening with friends in front of a good beer. In addition to the beer and the nice atmosphere, Norden offers the possibility to use the board games they have available, such as Catan, Jenga and chess, for example. The place and the restrooms are very clean and the staff is nice and friendly. Absolutely...

Cool place to meet people and enjoy time, conversation and beer. Iceland winter ale is something special. The ambient is simple and relaxed. Not that loud but not boring. It is a place to spend time with friends and talk. No real food, rather just drinks and some finger food. So better to be prepared and get something to eat before and then enjoy the time...
