Sat down around 8:20 on Saturday- the place was quite busy. Liked the decor, but the service was pretty bad and the food was way overpriced.
Service: We ordered sliced veal and tripes zurich style, which our waiter helped choose. Then we never got our food for more than an hour, after everyone else in the same room as us got the food. Our waiter reassuring that our food is coming in "1 minute", and when our food finally arrived after an hour, it was a wrong order that we never even discussed about initially. Our waiter physically described what we were ordering ("intestines" for tripes) so there couldn't have been any confusion in this for cordon blue, and he did check in with us a couple times to tell us that the food was coming. I cannot think of any reason why 1) we got our food much later than other tables who sat down or ordered after us, because when they realized we had the wrong order, the correct dish was prepared in less than 10 minutes, and 2) how we got the wrong order after our waiter's kind explanation about the food. He did apologize and all but it had already impacted our night.
Food: The tripe dish was good but the sliced veal was not, mediocre at best but for the price they're charging, it was bad - meat was tough and the dish itself was blend.

Read moreThe decor of the restaurant creates a really nice environment to have a meal and makes for a good photo. The restaurant at the time was relatively quiet and peaceful which was nice. The food was okay but lacked in depth of flavours and the presentation was lacking. I would not say it was worth the price point charged although it seems most restaurants charge a similar price. This was disappointing as other reviews seemed to show a high quality of presentation and flavours. The service at the restaurant was the biggest short coming. It took over 30 minutes before our order was taken and then a whole additional hour before our main course arrived. Had the restaurant been busy we would have understood the wait but the restaurant was quiet and other diners who had been seated after us and had their orders taken after all received their food before ours arrived. There was a lack of attention from the servers and hospitality was very missing.

The food was disappointing (overly sour and raw) just like most of the food we found in Zurich…here I’m really not trying to sht on the city but alas I sincerely hope that ppl could try harder. Money wasn’t a problem but at least your quality needs to rise a tiny bit to match 1/2 of the corresponding price. The waiter has an understandably bad English level but was really disrespectful and mean in services as if we were here to please him. And at the very end he demanded for tips with a very forceful tone which was completely disgusting. Ofc we payed our bill then skipped the tips and he turned without saying anything.
