Overall, I had a positive dining experience, mainly due to the pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. However, the food itself was somewhat underwhelming.
I visited with a friend, and the waitress was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. She suggested we order two appetizers, two mains, and desserts, along with a recommendation for their ham and cheese. We followed her advice since we weren’t sure about portion sizes, but the food ended up being more than enough.
I particularly enjoyed the salad with prosciutto, which featured a mix of fresh greens, mini mozzarella, and a generous portion of prosciutto. The seared tuna was good, though a bit predictable in flavor. We also tried the melon with Ibérico ham, but unfortunately, the melon was overly sweet and overpowered the ham, which was disappointing.
For the mains, we ordered the lamb chop and a smoked duck pizza. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked and tender, but it was served lukewarm, which was unexpected. The smoked duck pizza had potential with shredded duck as the main topping, but it lacked balance and became rather bland without additional ingredients to elevate the flavor.
Desserts were a mixed experience. The affogato was decent, but the tiramisu was a disappointment. It had a hard crust that crumbled when cut, and the mascarpone filling lacked the expected softness and creaminess. After a few bites, it felt too heavy and greasy. Despite being listed as a specialty, I wouldn’t recommend the tiramisu.
Although the overall dining experience wasn’t the best, the excellent service and standout appetizers would make me consider returning to explore other main dishes...

I don't normally like to leave bad reviews, but considering how much they are charging for the food, I need to be honest... Both pastas were lacking salt and flavor. The meat for one of the pastas was very chewy and also flavourless. The entree was also not seasoned. They charge 160 TPE for the drinks which is about $8 AUD (very expensive !) - even high and restaurants in Australia don't charge this much for a soft drink. The tuna appetizer was garnished with dill / parsley but even that was missing flavour. It was odd. There was one of those mosquitos repellent scents as well that made the dining experience terrible. The lady was helpful and did move it for us twice but we could still smell it.
They also charge a 10% graduity fee. I have no idea why. It's almost like theyre trying to come across as a high end restaurant however the food is anything but that. We did want to order dessert but after we tasted the on entree and mains, we assumed the dessert was going to be just as bad.
The service was okay but doesn't really matter if the food is bad? It's not like the good service is going to make the food taste better
Was the food good ? Maybe for half the price. What I come back again or recommend it? Not to my...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to go when I want to have a relaxing meal. Seats were comfortable, and spread out far enough that other conversations could not be overheard. The staff was impeccable, with someone always there for whatever request we made.
We had the fried calamari and burrata as appetizers. The calamari was probably one of the best I’ve had in Asia, and the same could be said for the burrata. The truffle/egg spaghetti was tasty and generously portioned to my surprise.
The fillet mignon with duck liver was a perfect medium rare, but to my surprise, it was just a liver mousse not a real piece of foie.
My other grip was that the wine by the glass was quite expensive and horrible, ok maybe just not to my taste. Their full bottle wine list looked decent, so I’ll either do that next time or try one of their cocktails. To their credit, they did give us free tastings for some of the wines by the glass so that was nice.
I’ll definitely be back to try some of the...
