Minji — Restaurant in Datong District

This was a horrible experience. The food was not very good. I ate the fried rice but the meat was chewy and old with no flavour. The woman working there was so rude. I wanted to pay my bill with a credit card. Instead of nicely telling me that it was cash only, she started screaming at me. This is the first restaurant in Taipei where they did not accept VISA. We went to the food market to realise the queue is too much for us to eat dinner. So we gave up the market and picked a restaurant with little queue.

We came to this restaurant without expectations, and to our surprises, their food is so good.

We really enjoyed everything we ordered here, including the side dishes.

The waitresses were ok, they do what they need to do but don’t expect too much communication.

Good traditional food. Not only like braised pork rice, but its more like heavy meal that fill your stomach in good portion. I dont say the portion is big. It just right. But the price atart around 80 nt. The pork leg is amazing. Tender, not super salty, dark brown color that make you water your mouth.
