𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 Their pistachio gelato is creamy but the pistachio flavour is not as strong as I like it to be. The nutty flavour comes mainly from the generous amount of chopped pistachio nuts coating the ice cream

𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬 Never had a cannoli before but my friend said the ones she had before didnt have heavy fillings like the ones here. We ordered 2 flavours to try - caramel cinnamon & balsamic berries. The former has a very strong cinnamon flavour which is pretty overpowering and the latter has slightly lighter flavour with a tangy combination of balsamic sauce and mixed berries that works and is somewhat refreshing. However, I don’t like how thick and ‘heavy’ the cream filling is and it feels really cloying to finish 1 piece

They only had 2 flavours of gelato today, which were Pistachio ($180), and Brown Sugar & Mascarpone ($150). Surprisingly, I don’t like the taste of cheesecake but Mascarpone was a type of cheese and it actually tasted so good probably because of the brown sugar making it taste better. Besides, it was my first time trying Pistachio flavoured gelato and it also tasted great. Mega Butter Cookie Cone (+$30) was approximately 30 centimetres (1 foot) long, which was insanely tall. However, 1 Flavour costs $150 and 2 Flavours cost $180 but the surcharge can happen if you order a flavour costing over $150. For example, the price I paid for was 2 Flavours $180 + Pistachio surcharge ($180-$150) + Cone $30 = $240. Pai Pai Cannoli is a cute delicacy shop tucked away on an alley in a trendy area. I had no idea it was so popular- I came 30 minutes before closing and the shop was still filled with customers and people eating dessert out front. I came for the pistachio gelato but was heartbroken that it was sold out- so definitely make sure you come early if this is what you are craving! Instead, I ordered the olive oil flavor with the cookie on top. There are also many coffees and cannolis on the menu (but I came for the gelato!). The gelato flavor I chose wasn’t spectacular- but the quality was. The creamy treat tasted like it was very fresh and made with high quality ingredients. Same goes for the tall cone- it was perfect.
