Came all the from Singapore to have this! Was recommended by this youtuber 超掟äșș生! Service was really good as i had my food there and also ordered another portion for takeaway, which the counter lady will remind me for collection after i'm done with my meal! Seats allocation may take awhile as it is packed during peak hours but i have no issues with that! Food was really good and non pricey, considering how thick of a slab each cut of the sashimi is! Their famous miso soup did not disappoint as it was really fresh and sweet! For such a quality, i highly recommend this place as from my understanding, everything is caught fresh and brought to the shop directly every morning!

Have to queue up to order then they will allocate table thereafter. The place is quite cramped and most of the tables are along the side walk. The queue is long so you will need to wait. Tried their sashimi for 15 pieces of mix fish slices, fried shrimp rice plus Saba fish and sashimi rice bowl. They served us 2 free bowls of fish soup. It was delicious and filled with portions of fish meat on bones. Their sashimi slices are thick and very fresh. The fried rice has the shrimp unami taste. Saba fried fish was to perfection and juicy. Love it!

This place is incredible - I really don't understand how they can offer such generous servings at such low prices! The sashimi was 300 NTD for 15 thick slabs (much thicker than how sashimi usually is, but hey not complaining) and the bowl of grouper noodles was 280 NTD. And everything was fresh and yummy!! Would highly recommend this place if you just wanna have a good, fuss-free meal. There's not much ambience since it's just an outdoor seating area near a busy junction.

Appalling Service Overshadows an Otherwise Decent Meal at Sando House

I recently visited Sando House in Taipei, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but was met with disappointment from the moment I stepped in.

Upon arrival, the cashier’s demeanor was unwelcoming and rude. She gave no clear instructions about seating, so we sat at an empty table—only to be loudly and abruptly told to move. When we asked if we could stay, she rolled her eyes and shouted “fine,” making us feel like we were a burden.

Things didn’t improve when our order arrived—she slammed the dishes onto our table without a word. The whole interaction was hostile and incredibly off-putting.

To be fair, the food wasn’t bad. It was decent, for the price. Unfortunately, the service left such a sour taste that it ruined the entire experience.

In a city known for its hospitality and food culture, Sando House was a letdown. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values being treated with...

I ordered assorted sushi, beer as appetizer and giant grouper ramen for dinner. They brought soup ramen and beer first!! Who eats beer with soup noodle! And the ramen noodle was so overcooked and mushy and without much of any taste. I ate 1/4 of the ramen. Couldn’t eat anymore. They were too mushy and fishy, and the soup tasted thin.
